love is a terrible lie.
i'm off today (as i am most wednesdays) so instead of sitting here all day talking about afro dynamics with nick, or randomly IMing with topher, i'm going to clean the apartment & get ready for the carpet cleaners. when my roommate moved out, she took her boston terrier (ugliest dog ever) puppy with her. the one she potty trained on my carpet. so for $60 we're getting the place all prettied up. hopefully it will take out the smell of stale dog piss & remove the stains. hopefully. if not, there will be one sad dirty nerd on afro.
i am pretty happy about her being moved out. instead of dreading coming home at night, i look forward to it. i know the only person i'm going to see is christopher & he won't put me in a bad mood. last night we cleaned up a bit after i got home & then made dinner. it was actually really good. blackened cajun pasta with ground turkey & cornbread. and dr pepper, of course.
not to be all sad, sappy, sucker, but i couldn't have asked for a better person to be with. i feel homogay writing that because he reads this site & it sounds contrived, but i really mean it.
on another groovin note, we're moving in some of his stuff this weekend. including a washer & dryer that his grandmother doesn't use anymore. god bless this entire world if it works & allows us to not spend $30 in one 3 hour period at the laundry mat. one load. two loads. three loads. (inside joke, sorry)
so anyhow, i'm going to hang out with my sister today since she's going back to school tomorrow & then get clean carpets. all in all, a fabulous day.
