i know this is a bit whorey of me, but this entire "best of" link is a bit whorey. my boyfriend is in a local group called the jevette band & they are nominated for a dallas observer music award. the only way to win this thing is to flood the ballot box so i'm asking for a favor. please vote. they are in the best funk category (though i don't think that fits them) and up against n'dambi. this is erykah badu's sister. there's no way they can beat her because she has a much larger fan base than they do, but i want the numbers to be up there.
i know this is a big pain, but pretty please with sugar on top? i know most people who read this site sit in front of their monitors all day at work looking for something to do other than work. here's your big break!
