how i've neglected this little space on el internet - and i feel bad, honest.
life has been working it's way around me lately & i'm just not sitting in front of this screen as much as i have in the past. which is definitely a good thing for me right now. i've been planning a 4th of july celebration & inviting all the friends i can think of. i went with an absolutely fabulous theme for the invitation. pats downing some vodka - godbless her.
working a lot, got a raise, still not happy where i am. that seems like a recurring theme with everyone i talk to though, so no career changes for me yet. at least i enjoy what i do, it's just so far away that the drive is a beat down.
christopher & i are wanting to get a house. just something to rent that has a backyard & large bedrooms. i don't know when this will actually happen, but it's nice to think about. we went to target last night & purchased a couch cover. bright red & fucking expensive. $100? for fabric? it's worth it though, the living room looks cuter already. and it's easier to decorate around red than orange plaid. yes, it was that horrible.
